This week I’ve been testing a login screen. I haven’t implemented logout yet so I’ve found Chrome’s incognito mode to be useful: just close and reopen the window and you’re logged out again. 🙂

Its also handy when my wife wants to check her gmail and I don’t want her to log me out.
Nifty. I hadn’t thought to use it like that, but it came in handy today testing a login that sets a bunch of cookies. I like that Chrome just uses a separate window for ‘incognito’ mode. In Firefox, the ‘private browsing’ mode shuts down everything else.
Brian Casey That is a nice feature of chrome. I would like the change the keyboard shortcut to cmd/crtl+Shift+P to be in line with the other browsers I use, but I am sure if it bothered me enough I would have found an extension for that.
