If I shrink my browser window, the G+ ornamentation changes.

If I shrink my browser window, the G+ ornamentation changes.

If my viewport height is below 590px, the black top bar vanishes and the G+ bar scrolls with the page. If my viewport width is below 1060px, the top bars lose some whitespace and the G+ bar scrolls with the page.

Try resizing your window and see for yourself. I never noticed before today because I’ve never had the window that small.

  1. FWIW, I see different behavior in different browsers (all ubuntu): Chrome 17.0.x doesn’t change anything: There’s no grey G+ bar;it’s always a black bar and it overlaps itself as I shrink the window. Firefox 10.0.x has a grey G+ bar in addition to the black one, and it gets shorter vertically as I narrow the window horizontally, and just disappears under the scroll bar when I get too narrow.

What browser/OS are you looking at?
