Great description of how these little devices were created, and what goes into programming them.
It’s nice to see stuff that is still underpowered for Linux to run on be created with open development kits like this. The programming model is old-school graphics mode for those of you who remember how that worked (tiles and sprites and viewports.)
Anyone have one of these yet and tried programming them?
Read this the other day, it was a fascinating blast from the past and makes me want to pick up a set to program!
