Holy cow, that’s cool. In the Vimeo video starting at 2:49 (http://vimeo.com/laforet/movibts#t=169), the cameraman is on rollerblades following a taxi. They don’t actually show all the footage from that scenario, but it’s fantastic demo anyway.

Yes, but image stabilization in post-processing inherently reduces image quality by cropping edges and interpolating pixels. Stabilizing in production is better, although less economical.
