I like this idea. I hope it takes off. I’ve tried a couple of times to disassemble modern small appliances, though, and many are really not designed to be user-serviceable, or even user openable in some cases. My kid and I took apart a Keurig coffee maker for example, and found it to be shockingly more complicated than we expected — 4 logic boards, 5 separate pump motors — and we never figured out what was wrong with it.
