here’s a feature I need for Android: touchscreen button mash detection.
Yesterday I pocket-dialed five numbers and rearranged the icons on my home screen while walking to lunch. It would be nice if the phone detected this accidental button activation via either the proximity sensor or a heuristic to judge that the screen is just being mashed randomly.
Maybe I need to set my lock screen to activate after a shorter interval…
I find it natural to put my phone in my pocket upside down. So just activate the lock the moment that the phone is inverted?
