Yesterday, the Google Inside Search Blog announced a new feature that helps you learn more about the websites you see in search results. Now included is a gray “site information” target next to the green URL that shows a summary of information about the site when clicked.

This additional information is made possible by the Knowledge Graph (http://goo.gl/XmDAnX). Launched in 2012, Knowledge Graph contains information on more than 500 million real world objects and more than 3.5 billion facts and contextual relationships between these different objects.

Enabling a quick overview of the sites presented in search results, this new feature can facilitate choosing the right information for online research. Head over to Inside Search Blog to learn more.
