The most interesting new feature in this list, in my opinion:
“*Dynamic Security Provider* — Offers an alternative to the platform’s secure networking APIs that can be updated more frequently, for faster delivery of security patches.”
I think this means that Google can fix bugs in the Java SSL or HTTPS implementation without an OS revision. This could be a big deal if a Heartbleed-like bug is ever found in Android. But of course any benefit will require that developers use this API…
