This is a great analogy for why it’s hard to find software memory leaks:
“Imagine a huge warehouse sized building with a hundred mechanics and each mechanic has a pristine and organized toolbox and each toolbox contains a thousand tools/bits/sockets/etc.Now imagine a thousand of these warehouses. Your job is to find the one mechanic who didn’t put a tool back when he was done with it. While they’re working.”
